A BIT ABOUT US

Our Background

Marine Surveyor Rick Rodriguez has been working as a professional in the marine industry since 2014. He's worked on anything from small center console boats, to 170ft Superyachts. Rick has a passion for long distance sailing and cruising, and has spent a lot of his own time sailing the Caribbean, Central America, Bahamas, Pacific Northwest, USA East Coast, New England, and the South Pacific.

In March of 2023, while sailing his Kelly Peterson 44 "Raindancer" from the Galapagos to French Polynesia, Rick's boat was hit by a large Fin whale, and sank within 15 minutes. Rick and the crew were left stranded in a life raft, in the most remote part of the Pacific Ocean. After being rescued by a sailing catamaran in the middle of the night, they sailed another 10 days to finally reach land.

After countless miles sailed on superyachts, catamarans, and sailboats,

After countless refits, repairs, and installations,

After countless sleepless nights offshore,

And after countless harbors where Rick's anchor has dropped,

He finally decided to use his experience, qualifications, passion, and skills to start:
